SMSGlobal's "Network Query" service finds which network carrier the specified mobile phone number belongs to. If Mobile Number Portability (MNP) is in place in any country, then the network query is essential. This service is also known as HLR Lookup, MNP Check or Number Lookup.

SMSGlobal's Network Query offers customers the assurance that if someone has ported their number from one provider to another that the service quality and reliability will not be impacted.

This service is available for all customers and being an international service, is not limited to any countries.

Using SMSGlobal's Network Query allows you to find:

• Which country the number belongs to
• Which carrier the number belongs to
• If the number has been ported and from which carrier
• A list composed of all the operators assigned Mobile Network Codes (MNCs)

Basic two step guide to using the Network Query:

> Step 1

Log in to your account by clicking here. Click on the Network Query link on the Account Summary page. Enter the number/numbers into the textbox provided - remember to place only one number per line.

> Step 2

Once the query has finished the page below will be returned showing the date/time the search was done, the number which was queried, the operator/carrier, the operator/carrier they were ported from (if any), the country and location.
