Prerequisites
Log into your the MobileWorks web control panel (http://www.smsglobal.com/mobileworks/) and go to the Preferences page.
Enable the "Email to SMS/MMS" option and click Save.
Then you need to add the FROM email addresses that are going to be sending the email so we can match it up to your account. You can add multiple addresses this this. Click the link "Add email address or wildcard domain"
Email to MMS API
Send an email to xxxxxxxxx@mms.smsglobal.com.au where xxxxxxxxx is your phonenumber you wish to send to. e.g. 0409317436@mms.smsglobal.com.au
You must send the email FROM one of the email addresses that you have authorised to send the Email to MMS option enabled as mentioned above.
Enter the subject of the MMS in the Subject field.
In the message body, type in your MMS message. It supports both HTML and TEXT emails.
Attach any pictures, sounds or videos that you want to send. The maximum MMS size is 300kB. Images will be resized to approximately 25kb each but videos and sounds will not be compressed.
Press SEND. It's that simple!
Reply MMS back to your Email Inbox
By default, it is setup, so that the mobile phone user, can just reply to the message on their phone, and you will receive their reply back instantly into your email inbox. The same email address registered to your account.
This enables full tracking and archiving of the email messages in your own Inbox/Outbox.
You can send the same message to multiple mobile phones just by adding more numbers into the TO: field. e.g. 0409317436@mms.smsglobal.com.au; 0409317436@mms.smsglobal.com.au
